Ralph Jaccodine: Ralph is on the faculty of The Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. He teaches in the Music Business/Management department where he was recently awarded the 2015 Dean’s Award for Innovation and Service at Berklee. He began his career in music performing and promoting concerts as a teenager in Allentown, Pa. then as concert director at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, In. where he received a degree in economics, followed by an Entrepreneurial MBA from Boston University. Professionally he has worked with artists such as: Bruce Springsteen, Kiss, Rush, Hall and Oates, Foreigner, Ellis Paul and Shun Ng and many others. After 12 years of running a downtown Boston Commercial Real Estate company, he started Black Wolf Records and Ralph Jaccodine Management in 1992. Ralph is the co-founder and director of the 55-member Boston Management Group, a professional organization started 20 years ago with Tim Collins, the longtime manager of Aerosmith. He is on the Board of Directors of the Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, Mo. and Club Passim in Cambridge, Ma. one of the top folk venues in the US. He is a frequent speaker at industry events such as: Berklee’s Rethink Music Conference, The New Music Seminar, SXSW, CMJ, The Americana Music Conference and The Folk Alliance as well as speaking at: Berklee College of Music, Tufts University, Northeastern University, Harvard University and Emerson College.
Sharon Wong May Yin graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor in Music Synthesis in 2002 with Magna Cum Laude. She is a recipient of the Berklee College of Music Scholarship Tour and achieved Dean’s List for the Berklee College of Music from the year 2000 to 2002. Sharon is also a former student of International College of Music and graduate from the Higher Education Learning Program of Kuala Lumpur with a Bachelor of Science Economics from the University of London.
During her time in Boston, she worked as Assistant to Engineer for Dan Cantor of Notable Music Productions of Boston, USA. Upon her return, she contributed to the programming of minus ones for Astro’s Kid’s talent Quest 2003 and joined UCSI University in year 2005.
Sharon has written several corporate songs for companies like Tupperware 2004,the Pink Ribbon Campaign for Pantai Hopis Kuala Lumpur 2005 and World Fitness Campaign 2004. She has done numerous arrangements for the Astro Chinese Channel AEC and Wah Lai Toi and assisted in the arrangement for Astro Talent Quest Theme Song 2004-2006, Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Quiz 2005, Astro Chinese New Year program 2005 and 2006, Astro Bei Bei’s Diary 2003 and 2004, Astro Kid’s talent Quest 2003 and 2004and Classic Golden Melody theme song 2006.
Her previous performances include being second keyboardist and arranger for Mike Davis show at Above the Cut 2007 event, Donnie Radford of the Platters at the Malaysian Association of Horse Racing 2007, keyboardist for Akademi Fantasia 2006 Gegak Gemilang tour ASTRO talent Quest 2004, 2005 and 2006, ASTRO Veteran Talent Quest 2004 and 2005, ASTRO Classic Sunday 2005 and M!Opera. During her performances with ASTRO, she has appeared alongside International stars like Jay Jay, FIR and Tanya Chua and Daniel Wan. She has also accompanied artists like Anuar Zain, Vince, Adibah Noor, Wang Yi Fei, Donnie Radford of the Sound of the Platters, Dejavoodoo Spells, Nicholas Teo and Yang Xiao Ping.She has also appeared as a judge for the singing competition Pantai Idol held in Kuala Lumpur.
Her recent works in 2011-2013 include being keyboardist for one of the songs in the ‘I am for you’ music campaign , co-music director for Donnie Radford in company events, Atilia in Alexis, Ampang and vocal arranger for two song’s in Atilia’s album “Indah”. Beside’s that, Sharon has attended many workshops in the Piano Adventure Music and ABRSM.
Currently Sharon is a piano instructor at UCSI University, Assistant Director at Bluezt Music Production and piano instructor in Selangor Institute of Music, Petaling Jaya.
